The Compassion Garden Buddhist Center in Madrid, owned by the Compassion Garden Foundation – Yamtse Drophen Ling, has several multipurpose Rooms for activities, a Library and an Exhibition Area with a small attached Store.
The MANJUSHRI* Library contains texts on Buddhist thought and related philosophies. It includes translations into English and Spanish of classic texts and commentaries of the Sanskrit and Tibetan canon, as well as modern titles of the different branches of knowledge, such as the dialogue between modernity and Buddhism in the fields of philosophy, psychology, epistemology, science and ethics.
* Manjushri is a Bodhisattva, id est, he or she who is very advanced on the way and helps others to free themselves (from suffering and ignorance). He is specifically the Bodhisattva of Wisdom. He represents the universal archetype of wisdom, of understanding reality and the workings of the human mind. He is depicted with a book in one hand and with a sword to tear the veil of ignorance in the other.
May I be the doctor and the medicine, and may I be the nurse, for all sick beings in the world, until everyone is healed
