He has roots in Bhutan<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Buddhist monk since 1990, initial education in the Monasteries of <b>Geyje Norling<\/b> and <b>Tawang Gaden Namgyal Lhatse (India)<\/b>, where he has carried out activities to help the population in need since he was young. He is <a href=\"https:\/\/jardindelacompasion.org\/en\/team\/ven-jangchub-rinpoche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Jangchub Rinpoche<\/b><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><b>Geshe<\/b>* degree at <b>Dharamsala Institute of Buddhist Dialectics (India)<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Training with an integrative approach to the different branches of Tibetan Buddhism &#8211; <b><i>rim\u00e9<\/i><\/b><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>After his stay in Dharamsala, he continued his activities of social aid in the Tawang area and nearby Bhutan, until a few years ago. Then he moved to Spain to give teachings, meditation and practices in the Dharma centers of the Ch\u00f6khorling Association in Spain.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>He currently participates, from Spain and with frequent trips, in the management of the Geyje Norling Center, which is a monastery and Welfare Society officially recognized by the State of Arunachal Pradesh in India.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Professor of Buddhist Philosophy, Practices and Meditation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>* <b>Geshe<\/b> title.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The Tibetan word <i>Geshe<\/i> (&#8220;ge&#8221; means virtue and &#8220;she&#8221; friend who helps to know) has as meaning: spiritual friend, or friend who knows virtue or who knows what should be practiced and what should be put aside.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It is obtained in the universities and institutes of Tibetan Buddhism that<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>continue the great intellectual tradition of the ancient Indian Buddhist universities of Nalanda and Vikramasila.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The title is achieved after intensive studies, reflection and debate sessions on classical philosophical texts of Buddhism and their commentaries in different subjects: <b>ontology<\/b> or nature of reality, <b>epistemology<\/b> or the way in which man knows, <b>psychology<\/b> or science of the mind, <b>logic<\/b>, and <b>ethics<\/b> or moral behavior.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 It<\/span>\u00a0requires a minimum of 17 years of study, which can be equivalent to a doctorate or PhD, but it also covers other domains, such as monastic discipline for example.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":22275,"template":"","class_list":["post-42666","team","type-team","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","team_category-founders","team_category-trustees-directors","entry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.1 -
